Dear all,

Please see the information below regarding the sad passing of former Penrith player, Coach and administrator, Chairman of the Sydney Rugby Union Judiciary and friend of Penrith  Rugby, Terry Willis.

Further information will be posted on the  Clubs website and Facebook page.

RIP Terry.

Jim Hook

On behalf of the Penrith Board

I have sad news to impart…Terry Willis our long standing Judicial Chairman passed away last night after battling an aggressive form of bone cancer.

You would all have had dealings with Terry over the years we cannot argue that he devoted an enormous amount of time and energy to Sydney Rugby Union…He had ben involved with Judiciary at NSWRU/SRU for about 28 years! He was a past player at Penrith and was also involved at both Sanzar and World Rugby level for Judicial issues. He was very involved with our competition and ensured that our Judicial process was held to a high standard. He will be very much missed.

As soon as his funeral details are released I will ensure that they are communicated to everyone.

Unfortunately as of Monday I will be away in China for 2 weeks but will have intermittent access to emails…Tom Chadwick (0468 396 308)  (TChadwick@nswrugby.com.au) will be handling any urgent enquiries and will also be attending the AGM in my absence. Please correspond via email including both Tom and I in any matters.

Our thoughts and condolences go to his family especially his young sons.

Regards,

Kerry
